I'm not sure how you found yourself at this website, but however you got here, welcome! The purpose of this website is to serve as a repository for some of my projects, experiments, advice, and musings about how to make your life as a physician more efficient, and therefore easier and more enjoyable. I'm a radiologist by training, but I went to school for engineering and some of that mindset has managed to stick with me through medical school, residency, and beyond. One thing that drives me nuts is inefficiency. This can be range from bad software or sub-optimal workstation setup to poorly-conceived workflow or mindless repetitive tasks. I very much enjoy being a radiologist, but I figure the more efficient I can be at my job, the more stress I can avoid and the more time and energy I can have for other pursuits in my life that I can enjoy. My hope is that the subjects I discuss on this website will not be limited to radiology, or even to being a physician, but hopeful...
